Achieve Lasting Recovery
Unlike residential treatment programs, which require overnight stay at the treatment facility, we offer outpatient treatment programs, meaning you can continue with your normal daily activities and still receive the help you need. Whether you work, attend school, or have childcare responsibilities, we work with your schedule to suit your unique situation. Outpatient treatment is also ideal if you have recently completed inpatient/residential treatment or are already on the road to recovery, as it allows you to gradually go back to your life and successfully continue on your sober path.
Healing Choices is the Center for Recovering Families’ 8-week, intensive outpatient treatment program that can help you recover from addiction and other destructive behaviors. We believe the key to successful and lasting recovery is to heal both the individual and the family. That’s why Healing Choices includes family members in the treatment process to support you and help heal your family.
Discovering Choices offers our world-class outpatient treatment services to individuals who feel they may not have the financial resources to afford treatment. This program includes specialized treatment tracks for adults, pregnant and parenting women, and individuals with co-occurring psychiatric and substance use disorders. Treatment options are tailored to the needs of individual clients and may include a six-week outpatient treatment program including individual therapy, psychoeducation, and process groups (phase 1); and an eight-week recovery management program to gradually transition participants to the community (phase 2). Discovering Choices is offered both at The Council on Recovery and Recenter.
How does outpatient treatment work?
Prior to starting treatment, you will receive a thorough clinical assessment. After our experts have learned more about your condition and unique circumstances, they will work with you to develop your personalized treatment plan. Your therapist will help you implement that treatment plan and guide you through the complete process of recovery. During treatment, you will be required to participate in some or all of the following recovery activities.
- Individual Counseling
- Group Therapy
- Family Counseling
- Family Group Therapy
- Community-Based & Twelve-Step Support
- Education (Relapse Prevention Techniques and access to recovery materials, presentations, workshops, etc.)
- Specialized Service Meetings and Therapy
Also offered are elective adjuncts to outpatient treatment process that offer holistic supports to recovery such as Yoga, Healing Circles, or Mind-Body skills.
