Rent a Venue
At The Council on Recovery, we’re focused on providing high quality recovery services at an affordable price. We depend on you to help us deliver on that mission and make our community a better place. If your business or organization is planning to hold an event – whether it’s a meeting, conference, convention, product presentation, or training seminar – consider renting one of our venues. You’ll have a great space for your event and support our ongoing efforts to fight addiction.
We offer a number of venues designed to accommodate common event set-ups. In line with our vision of an addiction-free society, all our venues are alcohol free, drug free and smoke free environments.
The Hamill Foundation Conference Center is The Council's premier venue for larger events. With a surface of 2377 square feet and a spacious platform, the Center has a maximum capacity of 340 attendees. The Conference Center foyer can be used for pre-event activities or breakfast/lunch services.
Depending on your needs, we can set up the Center in a number of ways; get in touch if you are interested in alternative layouts. The Theater layout allows for 288 guests and is ideal for award ceremonies or presentations. The Banquet layout is recommended for luncheons and can seat up to 128 guests around 12 round tables. The Classroom layout is ideal for lectures or conferences and allows up to 125 guests sat at tables.
The McCullough Lecture Hall is The Council's second largest venue, and is the right choice for any medium-sized event. With a surface of 188 square feet and two storage spaces, the Lecture Hall has a maximum capacity of 85 attendees.
We support alternative layout options - just get in touch and we'll help out. The Theater layout, mainly intended for presentations or minor award ceremonies, allows for 85 guests. The Classroom layout works great for lectures or workshops and allows up to 65 guests sat at desks.
The Council's Meeting Rooms allow you to organize smaller meetings and events at an affordable price. Covering a total surface of 978 square feet, the Meeting Rooms can host up to 65 guests each, depending on your preferred set-up.
If you have your own way to set up the room, get in touch and let us know. The Theater layout allows for 38 - 65 attendees. The Classroom layout seats 23 - 48 guests. The Square layout seats 18 - 32 attendees. The Horseshoe layout allows for 15 - 25 guests.

Regardless of the size of your event and the venue you pick, The Council offers a number of for-fee ancillary services to assist you in the organization of your event.
Audio/Visual: We can provide the following A/V equipment. Our supplies are limited, so reserve your equipment in advance.
- LCD Projector, Overhead Projector, 27" TV/VCR/DVD Combo, Laptop, Wireless Laptop Clicker
- Podium w/ Microphone, Wired Microphone, Lapel Microphone, Wireless Microphone, Conference Phone
- Portable Whiteboard w/ supplies, Easel
Beverages: For up to 25 people, we offer a basic beverage package of coffee supplies. For larger groups (50+ people), we also offer a staff-supported option, with the possibility of preparing and rotating coffee supplies.
Personnel: The Council can offer additional staff members to help you out. We can also provide extra security (mandatory for groups of 200+ people or if minors are attending).
