The Place to Start

Let Us Help You on Your Journey

Whether you or a loved one is struggling with an addiction, we understand that the first step toward recovery is often the most difficult. That’s why we do everything we can to ease the process and to get you the help you need. Our friendly, compassionate and licensed staff are standing by to take your call and provide you with options that best address your situation. By thoroughly understanding your challenges, fears, and concerns, we provide the vital support and solutions you need to recover.

Can The Council help me?

The Council on Recovery is the only organization of its kind providing services to every age and stage in life. In addition, we have spent more than seven decades forming strategic partnerships with hospitals, detox organizations, and in-patient and outpatient treatment facilities, so that if we cannot treat you, we can refer you to someone who can. Our objective, unbiased advice has a singular goal in mind: to connect you with the help you need.

What if I can’t afford treatment?

Because The Council on Recovery is a nonprofit organization, we can offer you world-class outpatient treatment and counseling services at significantly lower fees than most for-profit treatment centers. We also accept many insurance plans, which can mean lower out-of-pocket costs to get the help you need. No matter how much your health plan covers, our admission counselors will work with your insurance company to maximize your benefits. If you do not have insurance or resources to pay for services, The Council can still help through our state-funded treatment and assistance programs. We turn no one away.
