Older Adult Services

Substance abuse, particularly of alcohol and prescription drugs, is a national epidemic affecting up to 17 percent of all adults 60 and older. If you or a loved one is facing alcoholism or addiction as an older adult, The Council on Recovery has effective programs that help restore recovery, hope, and dignity.

Intensive Outpatient Treatment for Older Adults

Through our Center for Recovering Families, trained therapists and case managers develop special treatment plans that focus on common issues for older adults including retirement; death or separation from a family member, friend, or pet; chronic health conditions; reduced income; social isolation; sleep impairment; and familial conflict.
