When children are faced with difficult experiences, such as substance abuse in the family, divorce, trauma, and major transitions, they may create flawed messages and beliefs. They may also develop inappropriate coping skills. The Center for Recovering Families provides the appropriate tools, critical support, and specialized services for children to help them deal with difficult experiences. Our entire approach is directed towards helping children, with each service carefully designed to be of immediate benefit and lasting value to the kids and families we serve.
The Center for Recovering Families provides children with counseling, education, and support, whether or not there is a family history of substance abuse. We are the leader in helping children who are affected by parents, siblings, extended family members, and caretakers struggling with alcoholism, drug abuse, or other compulsive behaviors. Our kid-friendly programs and services are all aimed at healing the hurt children feel and helping their families recover.
