I understand that after completion of training(s), I am responsible to apply for certification with the Texas Certification Board to become a Recovery Support Peer Specialist.

I understand it is my responsibility to secure a site for the 250 hours of supervised work or volunteer hours.

By submitting this application, I acknowledge that my role as a Recovery Support Peer Specialist is and must be completely separate from any other role, including that of clinician or sponsor. I also acknowledge that recovery is self-guided and that my role as RSPS may include assisting others on their chosen path, whether that includes abstinence based, medication assisted, harm reduction, or any other path to recovery.
