Workshops & Classes
The Council on Recovery serves professionals in the substance abuse and mental health fields by hosting workshops and classes on our campus throughout the year. Many of these events provide continuing education units (CEUs) for license-hour fulfillment. We also host prevention and education training for teachers, government and social services administrators, and other public-facing professionals to help them gain the latest knowledge for fighting addiction.
In addition, The Council serves the general public with workshops, lectures, and special presentations on a wide-range of timely topics dealing with addiction, mental health, and family issues. Most of these are free and some are open to children and adolescents.
Visit this page often for the latest information about workshops and classes. For more information call 713-942-4100 or contact us online.
